Psion Vision came to us with a clear brief – they needed a desktop and mobile application that could sit alongside their Realwear Smart Eyewear and give users a single place to manage documents, calls, contacts, and media files. The work they do is fast-moving and field-based, so the app had to be straightforward to use without any hand-holding, and it had to work just as well on a phone as it did on a screen.

We spent time with both the Psion Vision team and the people who’d actually be using the app day-to-day, because there’s a big difference between what a business thinks its users need and what those users actually find frustrating. What came out of those conversations shaped everything – the navigation, the way documents are sorted and accessed, how calls are handled, and how the app talks to the Realwear device. We weren’t designing around assumptions; we were designing around real workflows, and that made the decisions much easier to get right.
