Verto Cloud

A long-term design partnership covering everything from brand identity to exhibition stands — and everything in between.

Branding Website Brochures Communications Social Media

Verto Cloud build project and portfolio management software for public sector organisations across the UK, and their platform does serious work – helping teams manage complex programmes, track spend, and report on outcomes. The people using it are procurement leads, programme managers, and senior stakeholders who don’t have much patience for anything that looks or feels half-finished. So when Verto needed a design partner who could represent the product accurately and consistently across every channel, they brought us in.

A partnership, not a project

What started as a design relationship has grown into something more embedded than that. Rather than coming to us project by project, Verto have kept us close enough to the brand that we can maintain consistency across every touchpoint, while staying objective enough to push the work forward when it needs it. Over the years, that’s produced a significant body of work – brochures, exhibition stands, email campaigns, social media content, website design and development, and two distinct sub-brands, each building on what came before.

A big part of our ongoing work has been producing marketing communications across print and digital, giving Verto’s business development team material that holds up in conversations with serious buyers.

That means brochures and sales collateral built for procurement meetings, exhibition stands designed to cut through a busy conference floor, and email campaigns that keep Verto’s audience informed without feeling like noise. Social media assets that maintain brand consistency, rather than looking like they were put together in a hurry.

A website that kept pace with the business

We’ve also designed, built, and maintained the Verto Cloud website for several years, updating it as the business has grown to reflect new services, new messaging, and new audiences. Built on WordPress so the internal team can manage it day to day, the site was structured to support both lead generation and product education – guiding visitors from first awareness through to a clear next step. It’s never been left to stand still, with regular updates driven by business priorities and what we’re learning about how people use it.

A growing brand

As the business grew, two distinct parts of it needed their own identity. Verto Intelligence, their data and insights offering, and the Verto User Group, a community platform for existing customers, each needed a brand that could stand on its own without drifting away from the parent. We developed both sub-brands from scratch, working closely within the established Verto Cloud guidelines so the overall family felt coherent. Each arm of the business is now identifiable in its own right, while remaining unmistakably part of the same organisation.

Verto Cloud is a strong product in a competitive market, and the work we've produced over the years has helped them look the part in every room they walk into - credible, professional, and worth taking seriously. That's what a long-term design partnership should deliver.

“It’s been great working with Stephen on a range of creative projects. He has a real talent for bringing our ideas to life and brings a definite polish to the final product. Stephen has also been flexible in taking on a variety of tasks beyond his usual design remit and been open and adaptable when we’ve needed support beyond his core design work, which has been a huge help, and we’ve really appreciated it. He’s collaborative, receptive to feedback, and committed to getting the details right, which are qualities that have made him a valued external partner”.
